Cricket 19 is the official game of the Ashes and here we review the game and system requirements.
Despite being one of the most popular sports in the world by the sheer number of people that watch it, Cricket has lagged behind other sports when it comes to the gaming world. Although EA and Codemasters have done a good job in the past, those games haven’t been successful in the long run.
But Big Ant Studios has stepped in with its own cricket game called the Big Bash Boom in 2018 and achieved decent success. It has now come up with a more well-rounded game called the Cricket 19.
Cricket 19 game is the official game for the 2019 Ashes series; therefore, it has all the official men’s and women’s teams and players on its roster. The gameplay of the Cricket 19 PC has seen vast improvements, with the AI having a much-improved match awareness like taking a single on the last ball of the over.
In the Cricket 19 game, the batsmen try to hit more boundaries when the required rate goes past 10 while in the bowling department, the bowlers tend to bowl according to the batsman’s weakness. These new improvements have made Cricket 19 a whole lot better compared to their predecessors.
Cricket 19 presents a new game mode called scenario mode that allows players to begin a match in any fixed situation. The game also allows users to play through the women’s ODI and T20 World Cups. and also, men’s ODI, T20, and Test World Cups. Below, you can find the Cricket 19 System requirements.
But one of the major disadvantages that the Cricket 19 game has is its presentation department. While the gameplay is good, the scenes in between the action are tedious and repetitive. So, if you’ve played the game for a couple of hours, you will most likely get bored of it.
Umpires and players’ faces lack any sort of emotion, while the stadiums, apart from England and Australia, look bland for a sports game. Michael Slater’s commentary also lacks enthusiasm at times, which disturbs the whole gaming experience. Cricket 19 is the official game of the 2019 Ashes series, so it has real players from England and Australia and doesn’t have the licenses of other cricketing nations, which is a major disadvantage.
